Bouncing Balls
This activity can be fun and exciting and this can be played by older
children too. Try this game with your children and see if they
can beat you.
What you need
- Flat surface to bounce balls on - concrete or pavement tiles
- Tennis balls or other soft, bouncy balls
What to do
- Count the number of times your children can bounce a ball in a row.
- Write down their scores for them to see it.
When they can bounce really well try these extra challenges:
- Bounce with their right hand only
- Bounce with their left hand only
- Alternate hands
- Twice with their right, then twice with their left and so on
- Bounce under their legs - right then left
- Clap between bounces
- Bounce high then low, and so on
