Clown Capers
Children love to play with clowns. This activity can help your
children in developing their creativity.
What you need
- Masking tape
- A large cardboard carton
- Felt pens
- Scissors or a Stanley knife
- A wooden box, stool or chair
- A brick or large book
- Soft balls or beanbags
What to do
- Use the masking tape to close all the sides of the box.
- Draw a funny
clown's face with a very large mouth on a strong side of the box.
- Cut
out the mouth with the scissors or Stanley knife and put the box on a
chair outside.
- Put the brick or book inside the box to stop it falling
over.
- The children will love trying to 'feed' the clown with the balls or
beanbags.
- As their aim improves, make them stand a little further back to
improve their throwing skills.
