Creating a simple puppet theatre for your children may encourage them
to put up their own productions. Their creativity will be enhanced with the homemade puppets they have been making.
What you need
A sewing machine
Calico or other cheap white fabric
Stretch wire
Hooks
Acrylic or fabric paints
What to do
Try to measure the width of
your children's bedroom doorway and double it.
For the height, let your
children kneel in the doorway.
Measure just above their heads so they'll
be hidden and add enough for a hem at the top and bottom.
Sew up the curtain, thread the stretch wire through the top, and
attach to a hook on either side of your children's bedroom doorway.
