This game will help your children develop their thinking and predicting ability. This game
can also help
your children practice how to screw and unscrew bolts - great for
developing the hand and finger muscles needed for writing.
What you need
A selection of different sized bolts with nuts they will screw into.
What to do
Give your children at least a dozen different sized bolts and
matching nuts.
See if they can find the ones that go together and screw
the nuts onto the bolts.
To increase the challenge they might like to:
Beat the clock - time them and see if they can beat their PB
(personal best)
Beat an eggtimer
Do it blindfolded
Time each other or another family member and see who is the
fastest.
