Painting the House
Most children love to be involved in whatever you are doing. Through
this activity, you will let them pretend they are really painting the
house.
What you need
- A small paintbrush
- String, thin rope or cord
- A small well-washed paint tin with a handle or a small bucket
- Food colouring
What to do
- Attach the brush to the tin or bucket with the cord so it
doesn't get lost.
- Half fill the tin or bucket with water and add some drops of food
colouring.
- If the children want a non-primary colour such as purple
this is a freat time to see how colours mix together and change.
- Now they can paint the house and it can all be washed off later.
Best of all, you can do some painting knowing they are happily
playing.
