Scoop Ball
Help develop your children's hand-eye
coordination and the visual tracking skills by letting them try this
game.
What you need
- Stanley knife or sharp scissors
- Masking or insulating tape
- A few plastic milk or juice bottles with handles
- Tennis or other small soft balls
What to do
- With a Stanley knife or sharp scissors cut the bottoms off some
plastic milk or juice bottles.
- Tape over the sharp edges with some
masking or insulating tape.
- Hold the scoops by the handles and use them to catch and throw balls
to your children.
- This game is not only lots of fun but also develops
your children's hand-eye coordination as they move their scoops to catch
the ball.
- Also, it develops their skills at visually tracking a moving
object.
- Children need these skills later to play sports such as tennis,
hockey, cricket and baseball.
